 During my Toronto trip I went to the big Eaton Center Mall which is like the largest mall downtown Toronto. Let me tell you, it has amazing stores, a lot of high end brands which I've dearly missed like Zara and Guess...sure the mall next to my house has those brands now, BUT there is a huge difference between them! Its sad to say but the big brands where I live have different quality materials, designs, and mostly catalogs than the one downtown. You see they give more importance to the rich people and tourists who come from far to shop at Eaton center, so they give them real leather and expensive material for clothes and bags, while where I live the expensive brands feel like your holding knock-offs : / That's why I've decided to only buy from big malls like Yorkdale or Eaton. Anyways enough of my ranting ヽ（´ー｀）┌

My free stay at Cambridge Suite Hotel (≧∇≦)/

I recently won a free night at the Cambridge Suite Hotel in Toronto, thanks to my friend ケイケイさん, by taking part in their many contests and lucky draws. Quite simple actually, all you had to do was send in a picture of yourself skating and the first 20 people to do so would win a free night! And surprisingly I was the 14th person（　ﾟ Дﾟ）I've never won anything...especially on this scale so I was very ecstatic! Cambridge is known for giving free prizes such as dinner for 2 or hotel reservation, so I suggest who ever wants to take part in just join their FB or twitter and be on the lookout.

So I took my Mom and little sister with me to the hotel, watched TV for half an hour as we recharged our energy and phones, lol, then hit the streets of down town Toronto.

Make use of your old calenders

Honestly calenders are quite pricey and by the end of the year you either throw them away or hide them :( And why must we part with our favorite characters! What you should do is cut out your favorite characters and use them to decorate your room :D Or you can laminate them and, like what I did with the "make use of your old cards", punch a hole in them and hang them on your neck, bag or stick them on your stuff....OH if you laminate them they can be used as a place mat or coaster xP

Since I had a 2011/2012 TokiDoki calender I felt too bad putting it away so I got to cutting and started sticking.

How to make use of your old cards?

Well that depends on how your card looks and what your style is. Recently I was going through my old stuff and noticed I collect a lot of cards like points, membership and even hotel keys >.> yes well i cant help it if the hotel keys are so purrty and shiny :/ So I realized what a cute accessory it could be if I used my old cards to create a necklace or a key chain etc the possibilities are endless really.

The fun part is your imagination!

So here I have 2 hotel card keys, the one one the right, which I will start with today, is one from a hotel in Dubai, tis too pretty to leave in a box for none to see thou beauty *tears*

So I started by hole punching the card which needs a lot of will power !

Roxy { My First Drawing }

 Okay so I really wanted to draw for the longest time, and all my friends including my little sister, who draws, told me to try it and not to worry about the outcome >.> I worry man. . I worry.  So first I sketched a circle for the head then the guide lines and this is what came at the end! With much help from gimp, I colored and balanced the proportions, I hope.

And voila Roxy is born! *evil scientist laugh*. .  I don't know she looks like a Roxy to me?

Things to start spring with!

For this May I brace myself for the heat :( Not a big fan of sweating, or getting heat waves...I'm more of an indoor bunny. But nevertheless life requires you to be out and about. On a happier note, new season means new stuff.

Finally got my hands on this beauty! The book cover isn't as hard as I would have liked it to be, so it's quite delicate .. but that's okay, it's still a bit sturdy. Beautiful art and perspectives, definitely worth the buy and I'm very happy with the purchase :D
