How to make use of your old cards?

Well that depends on how your card looks and what your style is. Recently I was going through my old stuff and noticed I collect a lot of cards like points, membership and even hotel keys >.> yes well i cant help it if the hotel keys are so purrty and shiny :/ So I realized what a cute accessory it could be if I used my old cards to create a necklace or a key chain etc the possibilities are endless really.

The fun part is your imagination!

So here I have 2 hotel card keys, the one one the right, which I will start with today, is one from a hotel in Dubai, tis too pretty to leave in a box for none to see thou beauty *tears*

So I started by hole punching the card which needs a lot of will power !

If you choose to, you can use those rings with teeth on the other side to secure & strengthen the hole from breaking, or if you think it looks prettier with it. This can be found at WalMart in the sewing/beading section.

Next is to choose the chain of your choice, which you can get anywhere from the dollar store to Walmart or even an old necklace.

After that go ahead and bead the chain to your liking, whether adding charms, beads or trinkets.

I added a simple white pearl and a rink ribbon.

For me I kept it fairly simple because it's a base necklace, where you can wear many more necklaces on top of it to add layers.

I really liked the simplicity of it, so I made another one for my rose ring :P

Let me know if you guys tried this ^_^
